Anatomy - Bones of the Human Body
by LearnLift
This flashcard bundle contains two Learning Modules: Bones of the Human Body and an add-on module featuring a comparison of the English Common Names and Latin Names of bones.
The Bones of the Human Body Learning Module contains 750 flashcards with photographs of bones and bone sections, their common English names, as well as their Latin names.
The Learning Module is divided into four chapters which can be selected individually for learning:
- Cranium (skull)
- Extremitas superior (upper extremities)
- Extremitas inferior (lower extremities)
- Truncus (trunk)
A number of different learning modes offer great flexibility to the learner:
- Slideshow Mode – shows the question with the correct answer. This mode is recommended to familiarize yourself with the learning content.
- Multiple Choice Mode - allows you to select the correct answer from a set of answer choices. This mode is a good mode to begin quizzing yourself.
- Standard Mode – requires you to type the answer in manually. This mode is the hardest learning mode but recalling the correct answer in this mode shows a higher degree of knowledge of the material.
- Sentence Recognition Mode – allows you to learn the Latin names of the depicted bones.
The included add-on Learning Module provides a direct comparison of English common and Latin terminology. This allows the learner to learn the common English expressions corresponding to the scientific names or vice versa.
Tip for users with low-resolution screens: By clicking on the photographs, you can enlarge them. This will help you to recognize the bone or bone section more easily.
