LiON-FONe-BeBC

Have you ever heard of LiON-FONe-BeBC? No, it's not a hotline for lions provided by the BBC. It's a self-made acronym that helped me recall the second row elements of the periodic table in our Chemistry class and stands for "Lithium, Oxygen…" If you ever have to memorize facts, look at the keywords of the facts and their first letters. Then scramble them until you get a pronounceable expression that makes sense to you. This mnemonic strategy is quite easy and effective – try it!
